We're excited to share that we've launched ICYA's Fast Track Program!
Fast Track is a 12-week incentivized hands-on construction training program of ICYA which was launched in January 2026. Participants learn hands on construction skills, and also learn about financial literacy, resume development, communication, and other essential pre-employment skills.
The program works with North End young adults ages 18-25 who are struggling to find work and want to get into the workforce or pursue education. The 3 month program includes 20-25 hours a week on a variety of job sites training, learning in the classroom, and exploring work placements for what will come after the program. 
Fast Track is primarily the training program for Step Up Construction, a social enterprise contractor started by ICYA. The goal of Fast Track is to equip the participants with the foundational skills for Step Up and also other job opportunities for long term meaningful employment.
