Thanks to our corporate sponsors and donors ICYA’s “Calling to Connect Gala, Inner City Exposed” had a record turnout of 393 people and raised a record amount of $200,262+ for relationship-based programs at ICYA.
The evening focused on breaking the barriers of discrimination, while exposing the harsh realities that inner city kids face daily.
The evening was rich through the participation of actor, singer and activist Tom Jackson who spoke and performed, Global Winnipeg’s anchor Megan Batchelor as emcee, Winnipeg artist KC Adams Perception and Cyborg Hybrid series being exhibited, both highlighting stereotypes of Indigenous people, and fiddler Jason Lepine and guitarist Jeremy Rusu.
Thanks to donors, sponsors and special guests for impacting and improving the lives of Inner City Kids, giving them the ability to reach their God-given potential.
